I have this strong desire of one day becoming the best possible version of myself. I want to save lives. I want to physically be able to give another soul a second chance at prosperity. I want to be seen past my appearance. I want to be the reason behind someone being able to cry, smile or laugh again before it’s too late to show that kind of emotion anymore. I want to develop more stamina and grace. But most of all, hypothetically speaking of course, I want to be the reason someone knows it’s okay to kick to the top after almost drowning in a pool of water regardless of how tempting it is to give up. But what if I can’t be that person? What if I’m not fit to be that person? Every single day I find myself praying that there will be some significant moment in my life that I will no longer have to “want” these things anymore. Why? Because if you put aside all the doubt and fear, I’m hoping it’ll be my reality. I’m working as hard as I can the best way I know how, but it’s not everyday where I feel like I can do this. So, that’s where my faith comes into play. And even though I haven’t always had much to believe in as far as other people in my life goes, I know God won’t fail me. Nor will he leave my side.
